1-The first rule is progressive over load principle and means that to increase muscle mass we need to provide a- mass of weights used in exercise (5.10..15 .. kg..etc)
b-Increase the number of repetitions and sets
2-The second rule is the principle of frequency , means the duration between each exercise and the other for the muscle .... research proved that the best frequency is 3 times a week . This depend on the quality of your food so as to allow ms recovery occurrence ,preferred if you were a beginner while a strong player, for example, 4 months in the gym keep training on Upper body and lower body day, the max number of training days is 6 days/ week
3-The third rule is eccentric muscle contraction : apply the exercise slowly to avoid muscle tear
4-The fourth rule is to avoid over training because this is how you cut the muscle fiber muscle strain in the exercise and each muscle duration of exercise according to its size
5-The fifth rule is compatibility such as a-age
b- The aim of the exercise

All these factors affect the muscle mass ....such as age, increase age, muscle mass, normally decreased so if u trained day and night your ms mass will not be as person in thirty
